Might just be me, but, shouldn't we worry about fixing our own country before another?
It's probably just you.
We've been "fixing" our country since World War I and all that's given us is what we have today:
The IRS and a convoluted tax system that has seen a multi-billion dollar industry rise up around it.
A welfare system that is content to give a man a fish, but not teach him how to fish (because if you're not dependent on the government for your fish, you won't be inclined to run to it when it tells you someone wants to take your fish).
A central bank that much like all central banks owns you, your family, and your friends.
A federal government that's become a glorified Broadway spectacle.
Politicians who actually believe that they rule the population of this country.
A Southern U.S. that has stayed exactly the same since General Sherman marched to the sea.
Aging hippies whom infect young people with their bullshit.
Christians in Texas being allowed to determine what our nation's school children learn.
A mentality that constantly drives people in to the n00bfest servers whom then come complain on the forums about how their self-esteem wasn't boosted while playing.
And in regards to the World Wars helping our economy, World War I and it's fallout destroyed the economy of the entire world. World War II only managed to pull a few countries out of their crippling depressions simply because of the sheer scale of the war, rampant government seizures of industry, and the fact that many U.S. corporations were funding both sides of the war.
