I'm an enumerator for the Census Bureau, anyone else doing this? I'm doing this until my job at Citi starts next month and today was the 2nd day of paid training. Although today was extremely boring it was well worth getting paid for sitting around all day.

The feedback we received from those who have already done this is that 99.9% of the people out there are really nice. I'm hesitant to think that it's that high but who knows. Our groups got started early because they need to count the college kids before they leave after the semester is over so I'll mainly be walking around my apt complex and a few others. Maybe I can walk in on some co-ed pillow fights or some pole-dancing exercises

I went through a 2 hour application process here to work for the Census Bureau.

At the very end when it was myself and one other guy who passed the test (loldipshitsalabamapeoplefailedafuckinggovernmentissuedskillsassessment) the proctor tells us our job descriptions were...

"You'll be making sure that the census is as accurate as possible. You will be on the front lines going door to do-"

I didn't hear the rest because I left at that point.

lol, yea I scored a perfect score on that test, I felt weird hearing other people's scores. I can't understand how you can get more than a couple wrong on it. Man, it must suck to be stupid.

no we took a test, it's really easy if you have any sort of intelligence but someone did fail in the group I was in but you can retake it as many times as you'd like.
