 HAI GUYZ! In France and missing you all :S Hello n00bs, one and all!
Just wanted to let you all know I'm currently in France visiting family for the holidays, and will therefore not be playing on the server until I get back. The Internet connection here is too slow for me to play online - I actually did join the n00bfest server this morning (or earlier tonight, for those of you in the US), but lagged out so bad I couldn't play. Insteat of playing online, then, I've been training to hone my skills with expert bots on cs_office, de_dust2, and de_chateau. And though I am doing rather well against these bots, I'm still not that great and need a lot of practice. Sometimes, I have killstreaks of 10 to 12 and an overall kdr of something like 3:1. Online though, on the n00bfest sever, I often have deathstreaks of 10 to 12 and a much lower kdr. On the server, I rank among the top100 (I once made it to rank 50 with a kdr of 1.17, but now, the story's much different - read on) and my kdr usually hovers between .90 and 1.10. So yeah. I'm not that great. But of course, I still love the game and above all love playing on the n00bfest server... everyone's just so friendly! It turns the game from a competitive, impersonal experience to a fun and community-oriented casual style of gaming. I really love it. And that is exactly why I've applied to join. So! Point is, I'm in France, I love and miss you all, and I'm pumped to become an RCT and eventually a true n00b. See you all soon then, when I get back to the States! Be wary though, seeing as I'll have been in France for awhile already, I might be prone to premature surrender.... lolzors. Oh, my... gotta love 'em self-deprecating jokes, eh? :P
