http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fulda_gap Basically, this would have been the main invasion route of Europe if the Soviets decided to invade. The American forces (who still happen to be stationed in Germany long after the Cold War) would have stood side by side with its NATO allies in defense of Western Europe. Read that Wiki link, its actually pretty damn fascinating. Its not a team FFA. Think of this as Conquest from Battlefield Bad Company 2. Both NATO and the Warsaw Pact have bases that count as points. They get points for holding those bases and also points for capturing and holding enemy bases. Points are subtracted from a team if an enemy holds one of their bases and the enemy gains those points. When someone is shot out, they go to a respawn zone and can immediately get back into the fighting when they reach that respawn zone. So you can run to the respawn area and then run back if you felt like it. No respawn limit. |
