 n00fest ECE attendees, listen up!
This is a map of the battlefield we'll be playing on. Study it. You'll get a copy of it once we get there, but the more you know...*star rainbow!* Apprently, we'll be starting out at Camp Lee (locate on map.) Also, please be aware of what direction you'll be facing when playing. ♥ (click to enlarge)

So i kno im not going to this but...wtf your fighting in WW II setting? Or just a germany setting? And will it be like a team FFA? all teams on the field at once and last one standing wins?

Re: n00fest ECE attendees, listen up!
Its a Cold War scenario. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fulda_gapBasically, this would have been the main invasion route of Europe if the Soviets decided to invade. The American forces (who still happen to be stationed in Germany long after the Cold War) would have stood side by side with its NATO allies in defense of Western Europe. Read that Wiki link, its actually pretty damn fascinating. Its not a team FFA. Think of this as Conquest from Battlefield Bad Company 2. Both NATO and the Warsaw Pact have bases that count as points. They get points for holding those bases and also points for capturing and holding enemy bases. Points are subtracted from a team if an enemy holds one of their bases and the enemy gains those points. When someone is shot out, they go to a respawn zone and can immediately get back into the fighting when they reach that respawn zone. So you can run to the respawn area and then run back if you felt like it. No respawn limit.

Re: n00fest ECE attendees, listen up!
Iron Man, the NATO General in command, said this in the closed strategy forum of the fulda gap forum. This is very important to remember: Iron Man wrote: For the most part Lee, Frankfurt and the wooded area between Franfurt and Fulda are what is considered the eastern side. The troops in Frankfurt should back up the guys at Lee from the very begining of the game. The 11-3 will be facing approx 175 troops accross the DMZ. It is also very important to control the woodline between Lee anf the top of Fulda. If Lee falls,we can never let them get a toe hold in the woodline. This is where we would make our counter attack from. If we can hold this area, it will take a trmendous amount of pressure off Fulda. It is of the utmost importance that Fulda DOES NOT FALL. It is our hub of operations and jumping off point for counter attack. One of the most important things a team can do is stay together and fight as a team rather than a dozen individuals in different areas. Guys we be told to move to a different area from time to time. Only organized groups can be effective doing this.

Reborn, the rules are easy, they're just basic paintball rules. "Don't be a dick." "If you're hit, you're out....or you'll continue to be shot until you call out." "Refrain from punching assholes in the face." "Try not to use foul language....but we know it's inevitable." "GLHF"
