Re: me noodling on the james river
Back in 'nam, we used to shit over a pond and when the shits fell in the pond the catfish would leap up out of the water and fight over the turds so that you could be entertained.

I think pee might work too, saw some bubbles comin up from the water when I had to go in the lake Yah it might, but this was an epic catfish battle I saw. There was this outhouse with one of those log bridges that led up from the edge of the pond and the outhouse was built on huge wooden stilts (basically more logs) so that it was about 15-20 feet in the air above the pond. The whole interior was plastered with newspapers so that you didn't have to bring anything to wipe yourself with. The newspaper wasn't the thick, inky stuff we have over here, its consistency was closer to that of toilet tissue but not quite as flimsy. Then again the toilet paper over there was gritty as F*CK and looked like it'd been made with hand-beaten pulp that still had tiny wood chips in it. Maybe they've made scientific advances in shit-wiping technology in the last 10 years, but as far as I know, they haven't.
