Yes you can form a subclan called that, just get 5 players together (usually by asking for teammates in the subclans forum) and then post something in the suggestions forum listing your team, it's members, and a team slogan for your forum.

I'll give it a shot...

n00bfest is a community (don't jump down my throat, you can call it a clan if you want) meaning that with the 300+ members, it's practically impossible to do things a normal clan would do (practice, scrim, etc).

However, a lot of [n00b]s like to do that sort of stuff. Thus, the Amazing and All-Powerful Corpsehumper, many months ago, came up with the idea of incorporating sub-clans into n00bfest (KU, K&C, Cowboy/Cowgirl, and WhtTrsh were some of the first).

In these subclans, membership is usually held around 5-20 people, meaning that team events can be coordinated much more easily than in general n00bfest.

As far as I know, the current sub-clans (for CZ) are:
-n00b.i
-BsH (?)
-EqL
-.v3* (?)
-PSA
-S*B
-d00d (?)
-zombifest
-^b
-Pirate
-and last, but certainly far from least, {n4b}

Question marks (?) indicate that I'm not certain of the status of these subclans. (i.e. are they formed yet, are they inactive or dead, etc?)

With the possibly exception of a few of these subclans, membership is usually restricted to one, meaning you can't be in both subclan A and subclan B (again, there seem to be exceptions).

Membership requirements vary from subclan to subclan. Some allow you to reply on a thread in the subclan forum expressing your interest, and you will be considered. Others are on an invitation only basis. Some require skill, some require coolness, some require both.

Subclans also vary in pretty much all other respects. Leadership, scrimming activity, practice requirements, etc.
