 I NEED HELP!!!!111 ok im gunna get a new sound card but....... i dont know if pci will work for my comp or will it for every computer ive got a Hp Pavilion a640n so if u guys wanna help me plz do and tell me what i should get that would be best for my computer

You should have a free pci slot. If you don't, burn your computer and throw it down a flight of stairs.
I'm 99% sure you DO have a free pci slot.

look inside your computer. there should be some plastic slots near botton part of the back of your motherboard.

there are two slots that around 3-4 inches long that are empty so i hope those are what u r talking about

Generally the PCI slots are white. Most computers have 2 - 4 of these slots.
