Post Getting very frustrated
I have been having choke problems for awhile now. I didn't really worry about it too much cause I was moving. Now that I am all moved and settled in, I am having the same problem. I uninstalled CZ and reinstalled it and it did not fix it. So that leads me to believe that it may be my video card. I updated my drivers and everything else I could think of. I have messed around with cl_cmdrate, cl_updaterate, fps_max, cl_rate, rate, etc. Nothing seems to work. This is so frustrating I have not even wanted to play anymore. I have started a new job and have been extremly busy, and coming to the end of my rope. Before I uninstall the entire game, does anyone have any ideas of what I should do. This seems like a job for Docwonder.

PC Dell 2.4 Ghz
1 Gig of Ram
128 mb Radeon 9600 series video card
Cable connection

Thanks in advance anyone,

Whore

The problem is not that people are taxed too little, the problem is that government spends too much.

We should measure welfare's success by how many people leave welfare, not by how many are added.

O.k., I think I might have solved my problem or know what is causing it. I turned off my Zone Alarm and didnt have a problem. I use to play with it on all the time and never had a problem. Maybe one of the more recent updates did something I don't know. Anyway, all seems to be good with it off so it's staying off. Thanks a lot Geno for checking into this.

You're thinking of the old days when Dells were gay and mostly useful for businesses and no fun for gamers. They have come a long way in the past few years. The only thing they do that I have a problem with now is building part of their proprietary shit onto the HD. You can get around that shit, though.

Dells are now one of the best bang-for-the-buck machines you can get from a reputable company.
