 Lol Source Lol I recently got and installed source but it wont work :|.I click on the icon on my desktop and it comes up with the Prepareing to launch source and then my screen flickers black 2 or 3 times and then nothing.(and yes its updated)

its probably an integrated video card. im also running a dell.
Dell Dimension 3000
CPU: 2.8 intel p4
Memory 512 mb
it doesn't tell you the memory of the graphics card though.

integrated video cards suck ass. i had (have) one on my Wal-mart brand EMachines...just upgraded to get CZ to work....

Yeah Monk, I don't know if this is the problem, but if you're gonna play source you're going to need more RAM than 256, and probably a faster CPU too. My specs are about the same as yours (with more RAM) and I havn't even considered trying source on here.

Actually those Dell's come with an Intel EG-2 chip and uses part of your system memory as it's own.

Also can i ask another question?I figured that i would just stick it in here as to not make myself look like Ocelo-errr a forum spammer....Anywhos my ping in cz is getting shitty.I used to average a ping of 50 to 70 which was perfect.Now im getting an average of 90 to 120!I dont know what happened but it just picked up in the past week or so.And my fps is shitty too.Where i would average a 50 to 70 fps now at some instances i get somthing like 14 fps!Anyone have any ideas what the F*CK could have caused this?

The pings are rising from the servers I think. I can go to other servers and still ping in the 30s. But my average on n00bfest is like 70 or 80.

Dude you have intergrated, a video controller. It sucks. I had intergrated, than i bought a radeon 9550. It was only 125 bucks and it runs all the latest game with flying colors. GG!
