I'd never built a new computer before and super effect walked me through just about everything I needed to know. Acid rain was a big help in the initial drive setup too. I learned a lot today... and I've still got more to install, like my sound card, other hdd, and my other cd drive... but those can wait. I'm running windows update now. 17 of 17 updates! Horray! I'll download steam and some benchmarking programs and let you guys know just how bad this motherfucker is. The shittiest thing in it is the video card. I had some problems with my shit turning off at random, but I took out half of my ram and it seems to have stabilized. It isn't a temp issue. I have lots of fans blowing and my case is wide open... and my temp inside the case is well below 30 celcius. Once I have time to look into it, I'll do so later. I had a gay fan power cord that was hitting my cmos fan, causing it to heat up and kill the power to prevent damage. I tied all my cables back, put in that gig of ram, and voila!
