 Quake 3 Anyone? Super Effect has decided to donate a 10 player Quake III server to the n00bfest cause. It's just been setup, and still needs some tweaking to get it just right. Along with the Q3 server, our Ventrilo capacity was expanded from 20 to 30 players, so hopefully we won't be getting "Server Full" errors quite so often.
If the server turns out to be popular, we can always add more player slots to it.
Go dust off that old Q3 CD and come on and get some rockets and rails flying!!
8.2.0.35 is the IP, 27960 is the port!
CS 1.6 is coming soon to a n00bfest near you!

why play CZ when CS:S is out? why play 1.6 when CZ is out? same questions...because they like one better than the other.

Tried to get something that was easy on the hardware and easy on the wallet if you dont own it.Quake 3 can be found for 10 bucks at most places.

The timeing is just a coincidence. We had a discussion about what would be most likely to be used and liked, and it was Q3 over Q2, Unreal, Etc.
We wanted to add something, like Super said, that was easy to play, easy on your hardware (compared to today's games) and cheap to buy if you don't already have a copy.

ygood luck finding it! you cant get the game in stores anymore you will have to get it online wal mart.com is only ten bucks....but dont waste time in stores i drove all over the place only to find since q4 is out they wont stock 3 anymore!
