So, when I watched anime....

Ninja Scroll was good.

As for series, Trigun (of course.) Full Metal Alchemist wasn't bad. Vandred was cool, Mobile Suit Gundam (the original, not the stupid new shit.) Blue Gender, Cowboy Bebop, DB and DBZ were awesome.....Read or Die was....different but enjoyable.

I'm sure there are others that I'm missing.

Cowboy Bebop, bleach, Blood+, Stand alone complex, Vampire Hunter D., Princess Mononoke, and Highschool of dead are all pretty solid, and Vash is one of my favorite characteres.

I can't believe no one said possible the greatest series of all time besides Bebop...Evangelion! Also Berserk and Hellsing...oh late 90's/early 2000's anime how I miss thee, everything now is shit...

Zoids. Gundam. One piece.

Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop both changed my life. lmao, and their soundtracks are absolutely AMAZING. Nujabes (Samurai Champloo) and the various artists off of Cowboy Bebop (like Yoko Kanno) are just superb.

On top of all that, I love Hiyao Miyazaki's stuff, even though it is admittedly Americanized. Ive seen almost all of his titles, there are alot to name. I've also seen all of the Neon Genesis Evengelion stuff, and boy oh boy was that series a mindfuck. I saw both of the Armitage movies, really liked them. Good shit. Other than that, I've seen my fare share of DBZ over the many years its been out.

Samurai Champloo was pretty awesome, forgot about that one.

Evangelion was alright...I wouldn't say it was the greatest, but it was pretty cool.

Do you know of any other anime where the fans of the show rioted in the streets of Japan after they didn't like the way the show ended, for a week?

I'm just now getting into it on netflix. So far Burst Angel and Queen's Blade have snagged me. I like a story line either single episode or multi ep and not too much jumping about.

Evidently I need to look at cowboy bebop since you guys are the 1010101010 people who've mentioned it.

If I may be so bold: Samurai Champloo is > Cowboy Bebop in many ways (animation, historical accuracy, badassedness) but Cowboy Bebop is much more epic.
