Looking into moving around Orlando. Is FIOS available there? What other high speed internet services are out there? I'm sure U-Verse is out there, but I'm not really interested on the cap shit. What are the max speeds and costs of these services?

I use Brighthouse http://brighthouse.com/ which offers different packages for high speed cable internet. I pay 50.00 a month and I get around 10 MBPS download speeds. That is plenty for me. They also offer wideband services of up to 40 MBPS, but I'm not sure of the costs for that.

FIOS is not available yet unfortunately in Orlando.

Road Runner Lightning from Brighthouse is your only real option for true high speed.

Not acceptable at all. Where's the closest place I can get fiber? People say it's everywhere, but it seems that it's everywhere I am not.

i have u-verse but im not happy about the cap on data usage. My only other option is brighthouse here. no fios yet in my area. I spoke with verison a while back and they said that fios was mainly on the west coast of the state at this point in time.

Verizon Fios is in Tampa my mom has it here. Tampa's job market is also better than Orlando's.
