Actually all three of the Royal kids are offspring of the brother and sister. Joffrey, marcylla, and tommen. Everyone (Except Jamie, Cersei and a few others) thinks they are Robert's kids. The other two kids had a small part when Tyrion had breakfast with Cersei and Jamie at Winterfell in episode 1 or 2.

If I know anything about medicine...wouldn't the kids be amazingly fucked up as a result of incest relationship? Or is it just fantasy and make believe.

Not usually as a 1st generation incestual relationship, but the chances of defects does go up quite a bit. It's when you get a few generations down that they really get interesting :)

Incestual offspring greatly increases the possibility that a bad recessive trait carried by both parents (which would otherwise be very rare) will express itself.

Am I the only one who gets depressed every time something good comes out like this one? I like it a lot, and I want it to never end, but I know that it will come to an end and I'll be longing for more. Yes, I know that it is a very twisted way of thinking :(

The Targaryens marry brother and sister to keep thier blood pure, but in the books they say its like flipping a coin, half are crazy and half are normal. In rl teh kids would most likely be normal but a small enough gene pool can result in retards and mongloids sometimes in 1st generation offspring; and, like Dirk says, it gets worse for 2nd generation and so on.
But ya i'll be wanting more GOT when the 1st season ends, luckily the 5th book comes out in July though.

Last episode, at the very end: I KNEW that was gonna happen, but it was still shocking!

This is actually quite annoying. I haven't reached the last episode yet, but I just hate how the little lord is getting framed. I know that the evil bitch and her fuck-brother are going to screw him over. I had high expectations for him :(

Just watched tonight's episode and holyyyyyyy shit!!! When that sword fell on Ned my jaw hit the F*CKING floor....I thought he was the main protagonist of the whole series?! There is gonna be hell to pay!!

Ya, I've had to becarefull with all my friends who are watching it now and havnt read the books. The whole series is like that, no matter what you think is gonna happen, it doesnt. It's kind of realistic, the bad guys win at times, and there arn't really any bad guys once you start to see everyone's perspective.

Me too. I don't want to watch anymore. Unless that bitch and her bitches get some extremely painful deaths, it's not fun for me to continue watching anymore. I like stories where the bad guys don't always win.

It was funny when the little midget got team attacked and missed the battle, heh...but the end really sucked big time.

I think they are going for the "anyone can die" style, which could really backfire if the next main character can't compare to Stark (the character as well as Sean Bean).
