So, I'm gonna be living in a house with 3 other dudes and I'm just trying to figure out which internet speed I should go for. The plans in my area that are at least in my price range are 50down/20up (149 a month) and 35down/35up (w/ cable included for 99 a month) Now obviously I like playing video games a good bit and I'm not trying to lag out every time someone logs into Facebook upstairs. Do you guys think it's worth it to go with the 50/20 or the 35/35. Right now I'm leaning towards 35/35 but I'm just not sure. Any suggestions?

Is it comcast or Verizon?

Comcast sucks. It's 35 for one user, whereas with Verizon its guaranteed 35 for up to like 16 users. Figure that shit out before you go further.

If that is the case 35 would be enough. As far as I know Verizon does a guarantee for up to X people as opposed to starting out at X and allocating Y bandwidth to each user who is on.
