Just curious...summer camp and such.

Went when I was like 10 and I remember it basically being a place for the 15-17 year old camp counselors to hook up with each other. It was decent fun, though.

I was a camp counselor for 2 years. Even got promoted to "nature boy" (nature director) my 2nd year. My camp only allowed college aged kids to be full counselors, but exceptional high schoolers could be assistants. It was "counselor hook up time" like Omega said but we were generally very good about only having sexy time after lights out away from the cabins.

It was Camp Shalom which is not a Jewish camp, it's a non denom Christian camp. Since I was there the camp grew a ton and got more commercial/mainstream which is a little sad.

2 of the best summers of my life, and we did our darndest to make it the same for the kids.

I won a trip to camp Wewa in elementary school. I fell off the top bunk a couple times, lost my swimming trunks diving off the high dive, and got sick eating lemon heads and drinking Dr. Pepper.

It was super fun though, I loved the campfires, hiking, and swimming.

The only thing that sucked was when I had to come home. I'm not entirely sure my brain ever did fully except that I was home, and that was 25 years ago.

It's gay. The counselors are d-bags and the kids are just as cruel as they are in school for the entire year, but on summer break.

Some friends of mine when I was kid moved away but in the summer they ran a camp for low income kids so they invited a bunch of the neighborhood kids up to visit since we missed our friends. Funny part was that nobody told me it was a bible camp till after I got there, but the family understood and we didn't have to participate in the religious stuff. The sad part was I was an Athiest and I new more of the answers to there bible tests they had every night before bed time then the christian kids.

I have gone to boy scouts camp a few times it was fun as shit. Think lord of the flies without anyone getting killed. lol

I went to camp Taparack for 3 years when I was younger, then sports camp for 1 year when I was 10-11. It was fun, I have mostly good memories, playing manhunt in the forrest and the such.

Never had the chance. Now I'm too old :(

Been to church camp once it was actually pretty fun had a few friends there and we were ll bout 11-13 it was a chance to meet new people andgirls lol so many 2 week relationships lol

What kid doesnt like runnning in the woods, swimming, and games? Kids thses days should have a mandatory summer camp that gets them away from the fatness, laziness, and all the computer nonsense.

I grew up in the country and broke as F*CK, so there was neither a point nor a means for me to go to summer camp.

I am from Germany, and I used to take a bunch of kids rockclimbing and camping.
This way they can get there self-confidence up..
