 Power Safe Mode problemLately my computer has randomly been going into power safe mode, IM lucky im even on it right now. Any idea how to fix this?

Re: Power Safe Mode problem hehe, I always use power supply as a joke too, but it does seem to be a problem sometimes. In this case, it could be the power supply is going bad or even some overheating going on in the computer.
I would check to make sure you don't have any blockage in the fans, power supply, heat sinks. If that doesn't help, I would take the side panel off of the computer and see if it shuts down into power safe mode then. (check to make sure all of your fans are working properly) Before replacing the power supply (which is what I really think it is) test the memory. The last troubleshooting option would be to boot into safe mode and run the computer for awhile to see if it happens. Replace the Power Supply as a last resort unless you just don't feel like troubleshooting. _________________  |

Re: Power Safe Mode problem Well I have an Alienware computer that tends to get loud when playing games. I'm not sure if this is normal or if it is starting to heat up to much. The Computer is a year and a few months old and I've never cleaned it out yet, so may need to dust it out.

Re: Power Safe Mode problem Yeah, clean it out really well and go into the BIOS and see if you can disable any of the power saving settings. If it powers down or freezes up instead of going into power save mode, you know you've got a thermal issue.
