Remember: you will be registering for NATO, 11th Armored Calvary Regiment, 3rd Squadron (11-3 Cav). Look for my name as commander of the unit to make sure you're joining the right one (the 11-3 part should be enough to identify the right unit, though). This is team n00bfest's unit and I'm only commander in name only. We're a team, not a bunch of conscripts taking orders from an asshole like me I'm just going to be getting orders from the higher ups of NATO and passing them on to Strange and whoever else steps up to lead and then we'll all guide you on what to do to complete our objectives. We will have plenty of time to study the map after we get our orders (we'll have our order several days before we're supposed to travel to NC).

Trial, Strange and Coach are 22+ hours away. 5 hours is no excuse.

Snug: I can probably safely guess that our orders are going to be to keep and hold Rex/Camp Lee for the first hour or two of the first day because the commies (Warsaw Pact) is going to try and take it by storm with a few hundred people. They did that last year. At least like 400 commies pushed over the DMZ and just threw NATO out of their territories in Rex/Camp Lee and Alpha/Fulda within the first 15 minutes. It was a bloodbath. We ended up taking BOTH of those bases back, but it really took alot of work and they really put up one helluva fight keeping us out of those places once they got them from us. Team n00bfest is going to be leading our unit and we'll need to be following orders, but I believe it'd be best for us if we also reinforced some other bases every once and a while so that we get action from the whole map instead of just one area. Will be more fun that way. I'll email everyone our orders or just post them up here once I get them and we'll have a lengthy discussion about them.

are we starting under the DZ2 spec ops starting point, or the all NATO starting point?

We'll be starting at the regular NATO starting point because we're no longer SPEC OPS. The General of NATO and I have been in constant contact over the past few months and he offered Team n00bfest the chance to take the lead of our own squadron completely: the 11th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Squadron. That means we have like 50 people to order into combat how we see fit after we get our overall orders from General Ironman (Ironman is the callsign of the NATO general).

How cool is that? So we'll have like 15 people on team n00bfest and then another 35~ people coming to us for orders. We'll need to get strategic on the communist's asses. Lets make sure that team n00bfest makes a good name for itself.

Im kinda sad becuase I wanted the fun of being spec ops but at the same time this makes strategizing more fun. Ill send you some prelim stuff in the next week or so
