 Re: Crysis 2
Torrenting it now, heard the graphics were the best an FPS game has seen in gaming history. Yet the story and map design itself is lacking..8.5/10

I never ever support the huge gaming developers, I always buy indie games. 2. I bought the first Crysis 3. Sequels (with the exception of Half Life 2 and a few others) rarely beat the original.

 Re: Crysis 2
Downloading from time to time is totally fine. I buy a shit-ton of games....that being said I also download a bunch too. When your low on cash it's a nice alternative. The way I see it is, If I didn't download this game, I would have never bought it anyways...so it really doesn't matter.

What does huge and indie developers have in a common? Oh right, they both create games. The only difference between them is the team size and budgets. You're still a F*CKING idiot for thinking that stealing is fine. How about I steal your stoves, would you like that?

 Re: Crysis 2
I downloaded crysis, and crysis warhead.. i liked em, then i bought four copies of the "maximum edition" (crysis, crysis 2, crysis wars) I feel i've paid my dues for "stealing"
and the first one was sort of a RPG in that you play as a character of their design so nyah :P

You're still a F*CKING idiot for thinking that stealing is fine. How about I steal your stoves, would you like that? How about their differences? Those go far beyond the words "team size" and "budget". Indie devs tend to come up fresh content that leads to an enjoyable experience even if the game itself may be flawed here and there. A lot of times they have to end up publishing their own games too because they don't have the clout to have a big brother like EA dump their game on the public. This means they're working on their own dime until the first game comes out and they need the revenue to continue. Big devs however like to rehash the same ol' money makers they've made for years. Similar graphics, lots of reskins, and children's comic book writing again and again for $60. On top of that, they do get big publishers to come in and give them plenty of money to make the game, but then have to rush it out the door while it's still bugged and flawed which leads to release day patch 1.1 and more bugs afterwards. Compound all that with the simply abusive practices EA, Activision, and Ubisoft hold against their own customers and you've got a tower built of reasons not to vote for the longevity of these companies with your dollar. If you like something or a company, go buy it and support the producer. But remember that it's money keeping these things afloat and it's the customer's duty to be informed about their purchasing decisions. Bleeding out these abusive corporations will force them to change their practices or hang up the towel and allow competition to get it right. Go spew your parents viewpoints elsewhere. And while you're at it, come steal my stove so I can get my landlord to put a better one in here.

 Re: Crysis 2
I.E. I bought Amnesia: The Dark Descent ( http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/amnesiathedarkdescent/index.html?tag=result%3Btitle%3B0), Super Meat Boy, Baldurs Gate back in the day, etc...I'm sure Blizzard/Valve/EA will be fine without my $50-$60 which is a ripoff in the first place... Just remember torrenting doesn't get you multiplayer usually which is in some cases the best part of games...
