North American Star League (starcraft 2)
Quote: It is the North American Star League. $400,000 in prizes over the course of three seasons. 16 man finals. Fifty of the best players in the world playing in five different divisions. Daily matches, commentated live from a full studio by myself and rotating commentators. With people like JP, hopefully djWHEAT, perhaps Day9. These people haven't been contracted but that's the idea. And there will be regular commentators like Gretorp, Diggity, and maybe some virtual commentating as well. Just the ultimate production, biggest cash prize outside of Korea. I think it is bigger than GSL now. And then the offline finals are going to have a $500 travel stipend. Big prize payouts, all that kind of stuff." http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/7 ... z1EeZiwnC8.. This is probably the biggest thing in western esports and starcraft history. Anybody else pumped to watch this?

Re: North American Star League (starcraft 2)
CGS went through over a million dollars, including giving players salaries, with every match televised. Little big to say this is the largest thing in western esports history, but I'm glad there are more large payouts for games here even if it isn't going into a CS franchise.
I think it's hilarious that djWHEAT calls his kid miniWHEAT. If he ever dyed his hair blonde, he would be Frosted miniWHEAT.
