 water pipe breaks. does insurance cover it?good thing i didnt play 4 hours straight cause i went to change laundry and whooshing water sound tells me not everything is right. sure enough my outside spigot burst sometime this morning.

If outside ur insurance should cover it but it also could be the cities fault id call ur water company and ask them before fileing a claim on ur home owner insurance...something simular happn to us and city had to fix it because it wastheir line that busted that caused our problem.

Re: water pipe breaks. does insurance cover it? It all depends on your coverage! Call your broker and you should most likely be covered but depending on what kind and who you are with it might not but that's slim but possible.

Re: water pipe breaks. does insurance cover it? I read the title and was like WTF?! I can insure my bongs?! then reality set in. I know here that if you have a huge spike in usage and can prove a repair was made they'll credit you a certain amount on the bill.
