Not quite true. It was said we were supposed to have a "no-fly day" -- where no jets would fly at all that day....that wasn't true. I saw the first quarter (where GB did most of their damage) and the fourth quarter, when you got to see them hold off the squeelers...but, in between that, I was up on the flight deck working on jets. I was a bit pissed off....NORMALLY, it has been true where everything stopped and they set up a giant projector down in the hangar bay level, but this time, we were at "war" (we were doing our pre-deployment wartime exercise), so the Captain of the ship made an announcement that day that nothing would stop because of the Super Bowl....
