I think we need to start teaming up as a team of 5 or 6 and see how well we do. I think that'd be ultra fun.

I don't know much about servers so don't flame me too bad if I'm totally off with this, but might this help with the linux problem?

I pretty much refuse to run Wine on the dedicated server because it's going to be a pretty big resource hog and I doubt it'll run smoothly. I want something that runs natively.

The disparity between really great players in this and mediocre, or beginners, is HUGE. Much more than CS.

Those of us who haven't dedicated that much time to learning exactly how to counter specific things have no chance. 1 minute out of 10 is fun when we're not getting raped.

Unless one or more n00bs who play have become such all stars, grouping up as a n00b group will only magnify the disparity.

It all depends on which class you play, dirk. Personally, I play assassin. As an assassin, you have to avoid tanks altogether, unless you know for a fact you can get behind them with a grapple. You have to constantly upgrade your shit and then focus on destroying the enemy bots and then get the F*CK outta there. Constantly jump if an enemy is trying to grapple you (that goes for all classes). If you don't kill someone as an assassin when you grapple them, run away unless you know you can sword them to death in one or two hits. Check out some of the strategy guides for each class online. They REALLY helped improve my game.
