 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
I'll go ahead and dispel the myth about camouflage in this game: camouflage is absolutely and completely negligible in paintball, at least at this paintball game. It will be daytime when we're playing and no matter what we wear, even ghillie suits, we will be seen no matter what. Trust me on that. Really. And heres the biggest thing: everyone in this game, even the special forces and spetsnaz, will be moving as a group. At least one of us will always give our position away. This whole game is about surprising people with speed, not with hiding and ambushing (even though we did ambush some squads and tore them the F*CK up). This is a firebase-based game and the fighting will always be intense and in your face. That being said, the team that did best in November 10' was a team that was wearing all speedball gear (bright white jerseys, black and white pants, colorful goggles, etc) and they moved as one large team everywhere they went. They had no intention of being camouflaged or blending in with the forest. Yet they still raped face and took the "best team" award. So I say we should get n00bfest colors.... the brighter and flashier the better. That way, EVERYONE will see team n00bfest charging into the fray, leading the special forces team. I agree with coach on the fact that we can't get something ghetto because we'll just look like trashy trash trashmen. My vote is to go with the nicest looking and most customizable and rugged jerseys we can get. We have until November to save up the money to buy one. That Animal Paintball jersey place is F*CKING awesome. Not only do they have awesome jersey designs that are about 10 times more customizable than the RAZA ones (we can put our logo, names, a team number and other symbols), but you get team discounts at Animal Paintball. I think we should do that. I will pay the money for mine happily. Also, I VOTE WE GET TIGERSTRIPE STYLE!

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
The point of camouflage isn't to make you invisible up close and personal. That won't happen without a universally invisible cloak that bends light.
You're foolish to say that camouflage doesn't hide you in a forest. The point of camouflage is to hide you from a distance and from general eye scanning so you can get up close and personal. Once you're up to that point its all about fire speed.
I played on a forest and speedball team. Camouflage helps in forest games, especially if you need to hide.
You can get camouflage speedball gear. The only reason speedball gear is bright and colorful is so that you can tell who is on your team so you don't spray them down while they move.

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
Play a game at Fulda Gap and then come talk to me. There are 1000+ people there and nobody is trying to be stealthy. Every lane, avenue, nook and cranny is covered by someone and there is no going out of bounds. You will not be hidden unless you're behind a large obstacle that covers your whole body. As I said earlier, we will all be moving as a group, as will the enemy... GOOD LUCK not being seeing (even from a distance). The fags with the ghillie suits on couldn't even stealth around without being called out and fired upon. Just too many eyes and not enough brush. Its a largeee forest with many roads and tons of hills. The area is just not primed to blend in with camo. Also, a very large part of the map and the game is open-field combat.
BUT, if you had read my whole post, I DID say that we should go with tigerstripe camo jerseys. We can even have the n00bfest logo in n00bfest colors and we'd still be camouflaged. I have a Smart Parts digital tigerstripe jersey and its F*CKING sweet. If these Animal jerseys are anything like it, they will be well worth the money. Did I mention that they give team discounts?

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
What do you think of this base model? I highly recommend it. It doesn't show it, but we'd have our names on the back along with our numbers (once we worked them out). Did I mention they give TEAM DISCOUNTS?! " * 15+ Man Custom Jerseys Only includes 15 Custom Team Jerseys w/ logos, letters & numbers. * Full Retail Price $975.00 * Discount Price $794.25 + shipping * (add additional Jerseys for $52.95 per jersey) * (For sizes 3X and up, there is a $5 price increase.) "

Your mother!
I was making a point that in general it helps. This is a specific situation. It seemed like you made a generalization for ALL paintball. Being an ex-player with competitive experience I can tell you that this is not usually the case :)
I do like that jersey though.
Edit: shotgun number 11 and what material will they be made of

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
Also, I think it would be best if myself or omega had a paypal account where folks could send their money too so we can order the jersey's to ensure they all look the same and that we can order them on one order for a discount.

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
My vote is for Animal jerseys in tigerstripe, not that I don't like the cyborg armor, I just think we should go with a cool camo pattern you dont see others with... and thats tigerstripe. And I know we can get together about $850 from all the people coming...
Lets get someone working on the logo and the designs of the jerseys starting with that tigerstripe base model.

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
We've already got the logos made sillies! We can use the breeding logo at the top of the page! Adam has the templates for them.

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
Tigerstripe camo has my vote. I looked up the pictures from the '10 event and I am in agreeance unanimously unfortunately tyhat nothing I get matters in this event. Most of the photos showed open ground even where it should've been closed off hte slighteset and the amount of people is retarded (plus some guy actually built a turret gun .. ridiciulous lol)
I was the one who enacted turkey to make mine becuase I know he enjoys this kinda shit and I like his eye for creativity.
that being said I think we should get uniformity in the sense of n00bfest logo and name and logos etc, but a little bit of side creativity to either do with our name or just some picture we find cool might be a good idea as well

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
Yeah, we should just look uniform and snazzy instead of all camo'd out in order to be stealthy. This isn't a stealth-based tourney as you will all soon find out.
We'll all have the same jerseys and logos and names and fonts, but we can customize our jerseys with little logos and shit on the sleeves and shoulders. That would be cool.

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
I was considering getting a semi giant killer bear put on mine for ironic purposes.. something like this... I also looked at the animal site quickly, we could get... or or even they also do completely custom designs, but I really don't think that'd be worth the time to put in, plus we'd wind up wiht one of the camo versions anyway, so eh... up to everyone else

 Re: n00bfest paintball jersey
well i did set up kind of a picture template and did what i could to explain it to you. logo locations and nametapes will be uniform as well as base colors (what ever pattern or design yall agree on...i smell a poll comming soon), BUT one thing i want to do is on the back right below the players name (highly highly recomend we use our ingame names) is find and print a gfx that best represents best as an explination of our name. such as the back of mine will read DJ Turkey arcd over the shoulder blades in similar style to other Jerseys, and then have my avatar printed on the back with www.n00bfest.com printed in along the bottom. I also had the idea of printing our n00b ranks on the shirts as well, but that (although cool) woul dbe optional and would be something id do myself. i can buy the rank here on post then turn it in to get it sewn on. (Just thought of something....a Colonel is considered a Full Bird right? Full Bird Col Turkey. sounds like a sammich of epic awesomeness)
