I am seriously thinking about going to this. I live in South Carolina pretty much close to North Carolina so right now pencil me in unless college or something stops me.

only way college can stop anyone (specially since its on a weekend) is if you have a test on friday which most teachers dont have test on fridays...usually on wend or monday at least in may case.

That is seriously like an hour and a half drive from where I live, so I'm totally down :D And getting the time off won't be a problem for me at all.

However, I'll have to get up to speed on paintball basics, since I've never really participated in it much (aside from one time I got a crappy gun with my older brother and we ran around and shot each other).

If you need any paintball related items, I suggest either going to the above-mentioned site, or to ansgear.com. Or eBay. Trust me: eBay is F*CKING awesome for this.

1.) Paintball gun of some kind. If you want cheap, go with a non-electronic. If you want fast with no ball chopping, go with electronic with eyes (Smart Parts Ion is cheap and amazing).

2.) Paintball hopper (you'll want a motorized hopper, preferably.) (I recommend this one: http://www.ansgear.com/ViewLoader_Evlut ... 4black.htm..)

3.) C02 tank if you're using a mechanical gun, high-pressure air tank if you're using an electronic. An HPA tank would be something like this: http://www.ansgear.com/PMI_Pure_Energy_ ... asichp.htm..

4.) Paintball mask. HAVE TO HAVE IT, DUH.

5.) Paintball pods and podpacks. (http://www.ansgear.com/Paintball_Pod_Pa ... s_s/62.htm..)

6.) Cleaning equipment for your marker and gear. That means a roll of paper towels, a barrel squeegee, and a barrel sock. YOU MUST HAVE A BARREL SOCK TO PLAY! Bring a towel, as well.

7.) Camouflage pants suitable for the forest. Make sure you bring warm clothes and warm stuff to sleep in. It will be very cold in the morning but around 50F in the daytime. ALSO, bring warm clothes to wear when you are not playing.

8.) A n00bfest jersey. We will work this out soon.

9.) Boots. I wore cleats last time and I was in killer amounts of pain after all the running I did up and down huge hills. Wear something comfortable.

10.) Socks, underwear, etc. Obv.

11.) Batteries for the markers (9 volts) and AAA's and AA's.

12.) Camping equipment! You'll be sleeping in a big field that is shrewdly cut. Stalks of sharp weeds and shit line the ground. Bring 2 tarps if you're in a tent. IT WILL BE COLD AS WELL. Bring a lantern, a small stove, etc. Anything you deem necessary to camping for a weekend in a place with no food.

13.) Food enough for a weekend. Pretty straightforward.

14.) Beer. Nuff said. We have to be discrete about it, though, because we're really not supposed to have it. We can't get rowdy or we'll be arrested. Families and kids there and whatnot.

15.) MONEY. Just in case. You may need to buy batteries, other equipment, food, etc. ON TOP OF buying your paint. You have to buy field paint or you cannot play! This is how they profit.
