new baby aka rig has been born
Today I got my last package and put together my new PC - i7-2600K - G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 CAS 7 - ASUS P8P67 PRO - Crucial RealSSD C300 128GB SATA III (system disk) - 2 x Western Digital Caviar Green 2TB (storage / backup in RAID 1 [mirroring]) - SILVERSTONE NT06-E (CPU heat-sink with 120mm FAN) - ZEROtherm CoolMaxx 2000 (for VGA) - nVidia 9600 GT, Termaltake 750W PSU, and DVD butner - those are reused from old PC - everything put in the Antec Skeleton Passed BurnIn test (with CPU temp not exceeding 47 degrees on the slowest fans speed - both 250mm case and 120mm cpu). Got 3445 in PassMark test Attachment:

So far only 2 things I'd change: gay green ZEROtherm led fan, and gay multicolor Antec case fan (this at least has switch so I can turn the LEDs off)...

Gawd I love those barebone cases make overclocking and benchmarking really easy. Good build man, there should totally be a new post your build thread with all these new computers being built.

Re: new baby aka rig has been born
@dust - for previous build I used Antec P180. That case served me for over 4 years, solid and roomy. But it was a pain to de-dust it, and cable management due to "modular" design became a nightmare. Hope that with Skeleton it'll be easier. The BAMFF blows dust in and out... ;] @cost - I spent about $1200. Half of it on CPU and SSD. Memory was kind off cheap - $100 for 8GB of pretty fast RAM. As I wrote I reused the optical drive, 9600 GT, and Thermaltake 750W. The PSU was a good investment. Bought it 4 years ago, and if they won't change the industry standard it may be good for my next build in about 4-5 years
