 Cyber bullying law
As of January 2nd 2011 IT is NOW ILLEGAL AND against the law in the United states to threaten, impersonate (even jokingly) or to haze over the internet. it is considered a misdemeanor if you live in the same state as the person that is victimized and a felony if they live in another state. there are several links but they all offer slightly varied information and each state has different laws.
Example of California:http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/6171750/california_cyberbully_bill_takes_effect.html
I Don't mind them banning threatening or stalking over the internet but it seems they want to strip us off all of our rights on the web. this country seems to be rejecting the values this nation was built upon.
AMERICA................Getting stupider 1 generation at a time

 Re: Cyber bullying law
Oh god i wonder how stringent they will be on this though I mean sure someone can complain "omg someones banning me and burning me wahhhh" but I feel like you tell that to an officer and he may just laugh in that kids face and tell him to grow a pair.

(Also, there's a difference between a bill one or two states enacted and a federal law that would make something illegal in the US). PS. Illegal and against the law are pretty much redundant.

LAWL
way to get it wrong clorox...
Senate Bill 1411 would make it unlawful to knowingly and without consent credibly impersonate another person through or on an Internet Web site or by other electronic means with the intent to harm, intimidate, threaten or defraud another person.

So as long as we anonymously bully people we'll be fine? That's nice to know.
