Just got home from the first playoff game for my school, and am ecstatic. Unfortunately we lost district so we had to play a tougher team for playoffs, and we got the team that has won state championship for the past two years.WE WON. I thought we was gonna looooose because in the first 17 seconds, COUNT IT 17 SECONDS, of the game they got a touchdown from the kickoff, but still we won, it was a great game, score was 55-37. Now I have to go to Dallas next week and be on a bus for 5 hours. YAY!

I don't play. I am in the marching band, but I used to be a lineman when I did play before it got so expensive.

A majority of the money I do get goes to school, and foot is one of the most expensive things to participate in.

really? hmm i mean my parents paid taxes to pay for my public school but football was definitely free. so that's different for you?

Ya you have to pay for equipment, and you are forced to have a specific insurance through the school so they don't get sued, and transportation fees, ect. ect.

I played TE and MLB in high school also played 1 year as a walk on TE at Oregon State.

It was fun in high school since I was the biggest baddest mofo on the field (6'4" 250 lbs as a sophomore), but I got knocked out cold in college going after a high pass over the middle and I had a huge problem hearing footsteps after that. The summer after my freshman year I took a bb in the eye and that was the end of my football career.
