My mom just came back from a 2 week trip, 1 week in Israel and the 2nd week in Egypt. Now, prior to her leaving, I did say that it would be cool if she got me some sweet Egyptian sheesha. When she comes home, she presents me with this awesome Egyptian themed hookah set. She said she had to haggle with the guy for like 20 minutes. (supposedly, everyone over there is a pro hustler so you gotta be on top of your price negotiation game). After some good price negotiating, she buys this:

This F*CKING thing is like 2 1/2 feet tall, the vase part is etched red glass, the stem part feels like it weighs 20lbs. I love how i can actually fill the base with a good bit of water. With other hookahs I have had experience with, you can only add a stupid little amount of water before it's sucking up into the hose and it doesn't bubble very well. This F*CKER holds like a goddamn quart of water, bubbles like a champ, no water coming in the hose. She also got five 250g boxes of Egyptian sheesha of various flavors (the cherry is amazing) to go along with it.

tl;dr... My mother bought me a sick hookah and she is the best mom in the world.

All this Hookah talks reminds me of when I was a Sophmore in High School the cool thing to do was to go to downtown and go to the Turkish theme'd bar and smoke hookah...F*CKING turks everywhere int he DEU but they at least bring good food and smoke.

Sheesha = drugs? I've never felt weird after smoking hookah....but maybe that's what sheesha does. It makes you FEEL normal, when in fact you are acting like a weirdo. It all makes sense now.
