If you haven't heard of it yet, Minecraft is a really special game. Every objects are cubes, including yourself. The environment gets randomly created at the begining of your game, so no one plays it the same way.

During the day, you're safe, you try to find the stuff you'll need to dig and survive because during the night, under the ground, it gets really scary when you're in the dark.

Good thing is it's only 15$ (http://www.minecraft.net)
Cons : you kinda need a good comp to run it, even though it's really "low" graphics, the environment is so F*CKING huge (huge F*CKING mountains, large map, random underground tunnels that go really F*CKING deep, etc.) that your computer will have to be powerful to run it without fog.

Been playing it for quite a long time, and i'm really addicted to it. There's also a multiplayer mod where you just create buildings, forms, where you race, etc.

I don't really wanna pay $15 for a game that's still in alpha...I would consider it if it was like $5. I does look pretty cool though, kind of like an open-ended garry's mod.

You should buy it and add it to your collection of games that you play for 5 minutes before you move on to another game.

Codeman, it's in alpha, but there were several other versions before that. The game is really fun to play even if it's an alpha version. And evil-pie, most of ppl that played it since the begining still play it today. You don't get bored of this game that fast.

Its alot of fun in multi and singleplayer. Multiplayer is supposed to have zombie and shit like singleplayer but it was broken. I would def pay 15$ for this as its an awesome game for what you can do with it. You really dont need a good computer for this at all. I played it on my buddys piece of shit just fine.

So I caved in and bought it. It's actually pretty cool. It kinda sucks that there's not a good tutorial with it. You pretty much have to look everything up on their wiki page.

Heres some facts.

The game is only in alpha and the owner has made over 5 million in sales.

The map can be 8 times the surface of the earth.

USE TORCHES. I mean it.....use torches for everything. the map is MASSIVE so make a bread trail of torches to get back.

When you get to the bottom of the world, which is bedrock, you can keep going and end up falling out the bottom.

DO NOT FALL ON FENCES. im typing this in caps since falling on fences is a F*CKING curse. You will get stuck on them and never get off. Well maybe get off after F*CKING trying for a an hour or 2. The best solution is just really to start over if no one is around and you cant get yourself off.

And lol reilly, yeah, I found out about the middle of earth :( But I've made a HUGE F*CKIN' underground world, I'll post pics when it will be done, but it's F*CKIN' sick!

and btw, yes you can run it with a shitty comp, but as reilly said, the map is HUUUUUUGE, if you have a shitty comp, it will lag, so you'll have to add fog so you don't see the whole thing. but all in all, any comp can run it.

blah this sounds like something my GF would play... I hope she never hears about this game because she will guilt me into getting it for her.
