 Re: KFC double down?
Strange and I went to KFC in Lake Jackson, Texas. We ordered a bucket of chicken, half friend, half grilled.
You know what response we got?
"I'm sorry, we're out of fried chicken today."

"I'm sorry, we're out of fried chicken today." A similar thing happened to me today. Me and my girlfriend went to subway today and when we walked in, they said, "Sorry, we are out of bread." It was disappointing to say the least. I can see if you ran out of like turkey, or lettuce or something....but bread?

Most of the time the chicken is dried out, the cheese is low quality and doesnt taste good, and the sauce does not compliment the taste of the sandwich. The thing is really salty and overall its not that good. I made one of these myself and it was delicious. Replaced the shitty mozzarella they used with real swiss, replaced the sauce with some honey mustard and sweet baby rays honey chipotle bbq sauce(dont remember the ratio), kept the bacon and chicken the same just cooked them myself and it was amazing.

Subway's bread is nasty!

Like I said, I can see a KFC out my bedroom window. It's right on the side of my property pretty much. But it's really F*CKIN dirty all the time So i'de rather go to the other places around here. There is a Church's about 3 miles from me, I just never go to that part of town, so it's just out of the way. I used to ride in Downtown Portland every day. Of course on MLK BLVD they had a few of them(Popeys), but I never stopped at any of them. We always stopped at Chipotle or BK or just the food court in Lloyd Center. You live near Portland Sleepy?

The Baconator wins. I would prefer Greatness' solution over eating another DoubleDown of which I've had one and one was enough, the cheese was fake and the bacon was practically nonexistent, each piece being about 3 inches long and a quarter inch wide (remind you of anything else? :P) and I almost took a shit out of my throat.

Popeyes, bojangles and Wendys are all quite underrated, imho. KFC is shit, same with wifesavers. And that doubledown sandwich looks absolutely artery-clogging... but I've had it and it tastes good... but you can still feel your arteries and blood fill with FAT UPON OIL UPON FAT.

Token and Omega are right these places are the shit. Had Bojangles a few years ago when i went to visit relatives down south and it was a close third to harolds and popeyes. Dont know if harolds or popeyes is better though. It depends on the store. 1/2. Harolds 1/2. Popeyes 3. Bojangles

I know what area you're talking about. You live REALLY close to my favorite BMX shop. GOODS on MLK and Stanton St. I'm guessing you live in that general area if you're closer to Popeys than Lloyd Center. But I may be wrong. Damn, that's cool. I thought the closest person to me in n00b was Dirk up on Mt Hood lol. But you're a hell of a lot closer! Like 20 miles at the most. Maybe 15. If you know anything about Vancouver, I live more to the east side of town in Cascade Park. And Omega, today was the first day I had ever heard of Bojangles. Someone mentioned it at work earlier, then I get here and you mentioned it lol. Someday i've gotta try it.
