No, they completely redid the way you do battles. No more stacking up 10 units then heading over to a city, lose 4-5 then taking the city. You have to move your units into place one by one and do a simultaneous attack on a city to take it.

Plus, you usually don't lose units while attacking anymore. (If you do it right) The AI won't even attack a unit if it thinks it will lose, so you don't have to worry about Pikemen taking out a tank anymore.

yes bf2 was nice......with the whole jump mid air lying down head shot bullshit in the beginning when it came out. Ohh no theres someone in front of me!!! no probs ill just lie down and shoot him in the face on the way down while im running.
