 Re: n00b Scrim Rules
I hate team killing in pregame -- whats the point? I mean, if its some config glitch where only people on one team remain then whatever I guess, but in pregame, when I'm just tryin to get warmed up and get ready to go 0-8 on a map and I get some douche (like nick the [rct]) on my team lay into me with an AK from behind because I didn't TK him first.
Don't do that -- at the very least, don't TK me.

 Re: n00b Scrim Rules
TKing period is annoying as F*CK and isn't funny in the slightest, whether it's pregame or not.

 Re: n00b Scrim Rules
I like the alternate rule for that exact reason. If one of your team members is being a douchebag and team attacking and stuff like that before. An admin needs to be told and that person loses the chance of being in the scrim and the alternate gets to go in. and I think that alternate should either be captain next scram or be the first person picked since they had to wait 30 minutes for the first scrim to be over.

 Re: n00b Scrim Rules
Also captains should have to be around an equal skill level for example tucker and spyda as captains would work but tucker and Clorox(me) would be retarded

Spyda wrote: Oh and picking teams, you should be able to pick first, map, or side. If you give up first pick, you get to pick map and the other team gets to decide the side. Or you could have fun and knife for sides. takes 2 minutes and is actually fun. $800 no nades. If you pick first you get pick 1, other person gets 2 and 3, you get 4 and 5. It would make the teams more even that way, but I don't know if certain people have the intelligence to understand these. If you cant understand this then you shouldnt be a capt I too cant stand being tk'd, I've said for years its F*CKING retarded and those who do it constantly are F*CKIN morons

 Re: n00b Scrim Rules
I'm not sure a pick 1, then the second person gets 2,3 would necessarily work.
The skill level of people making scram is too erratic for that. What if the captains are me and vision. People making scram are like tucker, spyda (although you're a AFRICAN AMERICAN half the time) and someone else who is generally good. Vision gets first pick, he gets spyda. I get tucker and randy ass good guy. That's a 3 man stack that would annihilate vision + spyda. Feel me?

 Re: n00b Scrim Rules
Pretty much every scarm (except one where somehow the other team came up with 3 alternates who were 1337sauce at the last second) have all been very evenly matched.

Not trying to be conceited about it, it's just what happens. 7/7 yesterday and 7/8 the day before were wins. Usually there are 3-4 good/decent+ people in each one. Outside of the first pick which is usually marginally better than everyone else, the other 2-3 people that are good get alternated between teams which usually land in favor of the first picks team because they have guaranteed equal top players and possibly I AM A HOMOSEXUAL depending on if there is an odd number of top players, so first pick wins the majority of pugs. If you have alternate picks, you pick your top guy and the other team has a chance. Even if the other team has tucker and julian(just using a random name for your randy ass good guy) with you as the captain, that isn't guaranteeing a win over me and vision(because I can easily take all of you down several rounds if I know I need to actually try instead of trying to show off 1 clicking with my AK like I usually do now.) And to add on to something that isn't involved with me, someone HAS to get that extra top player if he is there. After the top player gets picked, I'd rather see the top players team with him + 1 other good player vs 3 on the other team than have the 3 on his team because it's just how it goes. At least with the best player vs the other squad would be better than the best player + one vs the other squad. We have been using de_russka and de_cache a lot over the last 2 days with a lot of people really liking both maps, depending on when the next tourney is, acid and high should consider adding them into the tourney maplist(We've also looked into adding tuscan and forge but haven't had a lot of success with getting them on the server working) One last thing, in the pugs that I've ran I started trying out the knife for sides thing with great results, everyone loved it and most of them were over win a minute with few problems. The only problems we had was julian running around cache in a 1v4 like a black kid running from the cops in the ghetto and one time someone didn't know(had to be deaf since we called knifing for sides about 20 times) and shot someone. The other 6ish pugs went great and provided for a few laughs when someone clutched a 1v3 even though all 3 of them had low hp vs his 100.

The Fomenta Rule: Don't leave fire fox open for it to crash and restart to lo3 midway through a scrim. Or atleast don't leave it on the lo3 page.
