I know there not ganna run sc2 or mw2 perfectly but ill just lower the settings but im wondering if both will be able to run it if I lower the settigns and stuff like that.

The ASUS maybe....
I can't give you a thing about the Toshiba because I am impartial, I've worked with a few of them in my day and they're all queer.
The the processor in the Toshiba is far better though.....

I saw a really nice asus at best buy it wasnt the one I showed you it was around like 1200 dollar and it was a pretty nice one

Okay so whats a laptop that will last me for a long time im talking about like 6-8 years or even longer... For around 1200 or less... That I can game on/ do my school work stuff... Good suggestions anyone?

While you can get a laptop to live for a long time (around your goal) it sufficiently ain't going to last you power wise (such as it keeping up to program demands) for that long.
