Post HDTV Question.
Well I finished building the deck at my house for my dad(other than 1 board wich was shorted on the order.)

My dad told me he'de get me an HD Camcorder. But the price limit made me not even want one of them. So I decided I could get a pretty good HDTV. I've decided i'll probably get a 720p, because they are cheaper and all the 1080p's are out of my price range anyways. So I found a couple. My question was. Are these both the same tv ? I mean other than the fact that one comes with an Ipod dock ? If so i'll just spend the extra 12 cents and get an ipod dock lol. Other than that the only question I had was if one was a better choice than the other? It's gonna be my monitor, so i'll be using it for video editing, CSS, Internet, Movies and so on and so on.

I'm ordering one of them in the morning.

Theyr'e pretty much the same

http://www.hdtvreview.com/Panasonic-TC-L32C22-hdtv.html.

http://www.hdtvreview.com/Panasonic-TC-L32X2-hdtv.html.

different contrast ratio on the L32X2 and some added output power on sound

Also different port amounts, so look at what you need

If you're using it for a monitor go for the 1080. 720p around 1280 x 720, no more than the typical 19 in LCD monitor. 1080 cranks that up to 1920 x 1080 or around a 24 in LCD monitor.

The cheapest ones I found were like $100 more than I could afford. That's why I was just gonna settle for 720p. But i'll check for some more. See what I can get. Thanks for the input guys.

Alright well I found one that's a good deal. I just don't know whether to trust it or not. $400, think it's trustworthy ? It's the used one :/

Or, do like I did. Buy a 32" 1080P 120hz and use for a monitor.

Don't settle for less, you'll regret it. Just take the time to save the money and wait until you can afford it, then bring it home. I have a 720p flatscreen for a TV here, and I F*CKING hate it.

Don't buy 720, they are already out dated so don't go backwards.

Well i've got like $30, and my dad's willing to chip in about $400. I'm gonna try to get him to chip in a LITTLE bit more so I can get that first one Cpt posted. I like that one a lot. 100,000:1 Is a lot better than any of the others I looked at.

As I understand it, Canada has stiffer regulations on electronic components that makes some manufacturers stay away from our market because of cost factors. So while we get some manufacturers you guys don't, you have stuff we don't.

If I were you I'd steer clear of Plasma period.
Try checking into OLED, maybe the price went down.

Incorrect.

It's at my Costco, seems to be pretty decent brand but I'm fine with Samsung.

Yeah...I got a 32" 1080p Vizio from Amazon a year ago, and have been pleased with it ever since (especially since they sent me two by mistake, and never realized it!).
