Hey Guys I got on a server just to check out the new up dates its kick ass anyways in you Steam Community if you do not have [rct] or [n00b] in front of your name like when you chat to Friends it will not show up that way in game play so you need to edit your profile and fix it I just though I would Throw that out there see yall on the Server Peace out.

You have to tell people how to do this in this F*CKIN new shit....I didn't know how, and I'm sure half the other people don't know how either.

I'll be the nice one...to change your name, go into your "settings" on Steam and change it in the "friends" section.

so many bugs...especially if you alt tab and return.

The worst offenders are

1) Enemies appearing with friendly skins. So Ts become CTs, CTs become Ts, and you have no idea who too shoot - could be a friendly, could be an enemy.

2) Bug where you see an enemy crouched facing the opposite direction. You can waste every clip with 0 damage registering. You get shot by the enemy from another location while on your screen he is still crouched and turned away from you. I had this bug with Deadman and lost 50 IQ points trying to explain it to him.

These two are simply game breaking bugs. I thought the bastards would fix it somewhat before going live but it was too much to expect.

Well the update did not do what they wanted, instead of decreased lag by taking advantage of multiple processors, we got the opposite. I think if they find a way to fix this prob, it will be worth it. I like most of the changes, they just need to find a way to make the game run smoother.

Reborn, I have one suggestion -- carry over as as little configuration as you can. From reading, it looks like they've done a ton of things to optimize the netcode and game play and carrying over old settings could make it a bad experience.

Also my issues for bullshit purposes:
I get at least about 20ms ping more.

someone will talk without their name appearing on my screen.

the motion blur starts getting skippy around my hand and gun area.

The only problem I really see is the crosshair expanding after you have shot and stopped shooting. Shoot shoot shoot, wait wait, then expand..

Ive seen 2 glitches so far

one is when viewing someone it looks like hteir gun is shooting when its really not

two was similar with them reloading when they're really not

Also my MS is increased GG to that, but its not by a whole lot maybe 17-20, and the lag has increased 10 fold

the bug im getting is seeing 1-2 people crouched but moving at reg speed. Saw a guy on the opposite team like that and thought how the F*CK am I supposed to hit him. havent played alot of it as I sometimes hate playing when im not high as its not really enjoyable. I also have not seen an increase of ping as im always floating at 70-100. Feels easier to get deagle hs....

I dunno if I like all the added crap. Acheivments are cool I guess, but i'de really like an option to be able to turn em off or something. So I don't have to see all those added screens popping up about who won what. Like if it had options so only your acheivments would pop up I wouldn't mind so much. imo this game has just changed from a leader creating a trend to follow into a follower of a trend(f that makes sence?) Like the "planted us up a bomb acheivment." I'm pretty sure there's a lot of people,that agree it's way to much extra shit that distracts you. Also I noticed that crosshair crap. I don't know if it actually affects the aim, but it sucks haha. I saw Hobo crouching, but still moving full speed, turned the opposite way, come around a corner and hs someone while I was specing. There's a WHOLE lot of shit I noticed that I don't really like. But it's CS so i'll just have to get used to it like every other major update in the past. But I have to say, this is by far the most rediculous one of them all. Other than BF1942 it's the only game i've ever liked becasue of not having all the add ons like acheivments and all that. To be honest, i'll give it a little while for some getting used to. But after a while if i'm still not enjoying it as much, i'm doubting i'll be around for another "update" if you could even call it that. Very dissapointing downgrade, but hopefully I can learn to like it!

10 bucks they start releasing patches every tuesday like WoW. Honestly i dont mind the game now, im sure they will fix all those bugs within the next few weeks/months.
