Post The new anti-teamstacking tool.
Fomenta asked me to start a thread asking for comments and suggestions.

My first one is make it not switch within the first 5 rounds. Not even admins can tell if teams are stacked after the first round. I also have problems with it stacking teams even worse by switching me/other good players to the easy team.

Leave questions/comments/concerns here.

Here's my thing:

If we're not supposed to do anything while this is running, that's one thing. If we're supposed to help or supplement team balance using our admin powers, then the system's just not working.

So I'd be interested to know if we as admins who usually try to help teams out in various ways should just let this thing take over.

Calc the average kill/death ratio of each team as well as the standard deviation for both teams. Take the average k/d ratio of the losing team and calc how far it deviates from the average of the winning team. Pick the two players above and below the average of either side who are closest to that deviation and swap them. Rinse and repeat after a few rounds.

That's what I would start with.

We didn't write this -- so I'm not sure how flexible it is with modifications -- but still post any ideas at all.

It seems legit to me but like Hooker said, I would go with it being restricted to work until after the first 5 rounds.

Maybe also a feature where a player that has been manually move is untouchable by the program until map change.

The plugin does have this option, and I can change it to five rounds.

ADD IT! PLEASE!

Tired of hearing about team stacking 24/7. I hardly play anymore because of a select few people that cry about it ALL THE F*CKING TIME. The quicker we turn the server into Hello Kitty Island Adventures, the quicker everyone can bitch about something else that they can't blame me for. PTB(if it's still called that..) is welcome here!

Going too far.. That could put Tiki, acid, Tucker, me, and State on the same team just because "random" actually means randomly put 1 person on auto select, then the next person gets forced to the other team. PTB is retarded, but it'll be better than hearing QQ all the time.

That's exactly what this plugin does. It only does it every four rounds.

I think is a mirage created by sided maps.

I.e even teams may still cause the vision of "stacked" teams such as Aztec, Italy.

I agree...this is why I think team stacking should only be measured by looking at average K:D ratio of both teams and not win:loss.

I think team stackn always will be here it just really depends on how the map goes and how the people play the map judgement calls I guess really
