I've always made my own workouts that would fit me there and then,
when i was in the army it would differ from day to day since i didn't know how much time i had at any given
point of the day..

Main pointers for the girls here, as pinkey said you wanna avoid the bad carbs, for the long slim
muscles go for cardio workouts, basically that's when your muscles still obtains air and you can keep
going for a longer period of time, if any of you enjoy talking walks or jogging get a pulse clock and a
program from the internet, it will improve your fitness level but it requires you to stick with it..

I'll post what used to be my base workout over a 7 day period for the guys that wants to try to
it out and get into shape. I worked out 3 times every day 7 days a week.

Morning jog between 5-6 am. 2 miles or more depending on how early i started.
Mid day workout between 5-7 pm. Arms/Legs/support muscles
(i would switch those three around to not strain my muscle groups, put in swimming and such as a break)
Evening workout 9-11 pm. Push ups, crunches maybe a walk or a short jog
(the late workout was basically whatever i felt like, football,basketball or anything available.)

With this workout i ate pasta / bread whenever i could, i had no worries that i would get fat.
Also i usually eat fruit before i workout and a meal after i've worked out.

If you want to try my program give me a shout and i'll go through my old workout/coaching books
and i'll make it more detailed for you, anyone can actually do this, all it takes is determination, cause
you will start at the level of fitness where you currently are and just work on it. :)

That's super cool Loke...I'm very interested to see your workout. I could try that for a week and see how it compares, certainly.

I worked out on Saturday. Walked 9 holes of golf :D Worked up a sweat!

lol... nice. I might start working out but ill have to find a set schedule that i can do it at. Its summer now so i have plenty of time. I would go to the gmy but i dont always have the car. Anyone know of any good home workouts?

P90x is a home workout. Just gotta have the DVD's.

The other one I mentioned in this thread is a hot youtube chick who does all-bodyweight exercise out of her house. After you watch for more than 5 mins, you stop looking at her boobs & butt and start realizing that her workouts are the real deal.

Yeah-- at first my strict christian upbringing brought me this overwhelming feeling of disappointment. The same feeling I felt when I found out the girl I had a crush on in high school wasn't a virgin. If you were raised strict you know what I mean :)

But then I went and checked out some of her other "work" and felt pretty good. Mmmmmm.

Hey, anyone who is doing this, and esp Human Shield, how's it going? Are you hanging in there? I had a bad workout day yesterday, even yoga was pwning me hard. My back is hurting so I'm stretching like crazy today. It's Legs/Back day with an Ab Ripper which translates into a gazillion pull ups and squats and lunges and crunch type things. I need to vary this a little bit, as my muscles are getting nicely defined but I need to burn off about an inch of padding that is over my ab muscles. Need me some cardio!

I gave up for now, but will return with a vengeance after fixing my dietary habits.

Im still hanging, Im not following the program excacly, yesterday I did ab ripper and chest and back. Think I injured my right arm hurts when I straighten it, but Im gonna blame it on work and let workmans comp handle it. Today ill prolly take it easy with just dome cardio. I also have a beer belley to remove b4 my abs are visible. I bet Ive got a killer sixpack under this 20 pack lawls. Hopefully my arm is ok by tomorrow.

Cool dudes. I for one am not looking forward to working out today. For some reason I'm tired and cranky and don't WANNA!!! But I will cause I am stubborn.

I am feeling much better. I will be restarting the program on monday. After I go buy groceries so I can eat better/more so this won't happen again.

I have also been doing some of the stretches and yoga to keep me from dropping the program.

hey Spidey the same thing happened to me when I did the chest and back one, it went away in a few days. Where does it hurt at the elbow or just before it?

GJ, that's great. I made it thru legs and pull ups and abs tonight and it was easier than I thought it would be. Thank God. I'm glad you are gonna try again.
