I have real life friends who don't play on this server because of the language and they ask me how I can. Well I don't use the N word, and that's because I don't like the word or it's history but that's my personal choice. Yes I am older then most of the members here but it's not my job to baby sit or parent the little F*CKERS here, that's what the people who fucked and made them are for. I do however enjoy that the server is FREE! It's not bogged down with stupid rules of conduct and everyone has to constantly watch if they offend someone, we just have fun and take everything in stride. You came in the server riding a high horse and demanded everyone to act according to you, but all we did was kick out the legs of your high horse and try and teach you some humility, but I think we FAILED!

P.S. I think you should try and play on asian servers, I'm positive they don't don't know how to say the N word in english.

I find it curious that the only racially derogatory term a lot of you use is the N word.

I live in Texas. It's the south and surely there is racism, but it is more behind closed doors. That stuff wouldn't fly if you were speaking in public. It's like a badge to be able to say these things in the comfort of your own homes with no fear of retribution. I think everyone, myself included acts differently when they are not actually speaking to people in person. Some things just should not be said.

Maybe I am just to old to hang with the hipster crowd, where N this and N that is acceptable. I for sure wouldn't be teaching that to anyone else, let alone allow them to think that is a perfectly fine thing to say.

One way to see it is by likening it to how black people call each others the same thing with pride instead of being offended. Why is it offensive when only people who are not black use the word? Isn't that concept itself racist by default?

Here at n00bfest, there is no racism. Every so called "race", religion, nationality etc. is equally made fun of, which itself is done in a playful manner, not of spite. There may be young ones who play here who have a different idea, but that doesn't reflect the community. It will take a bit of getting used to, but spend more time here and you'll see the full picture. Getting flamed is a pre-requisite to become part of this community, so just get some thick skin, see past the "words" and have fun.
