My interest in it has been minimal at best until recently. As for theoretical physics in general it's fun to read but that's about it. Lately, I have become very interested in the future of quantum computing, neural networks, AI, and CI in terms of predictive modeling for making financial decisions and risk management applications in general.

How about all you crazy ass religious nuts and scientific geeks just sit down and listen. Why waste your time trying to figure out how the world is going to end or how to try to fix something in the world. Trust is your wasting your time. Man needs to stop trying to control everything and just leave the universe as it is. Why would you want to know when your going to die? If its your time to die, then so be it. Religion and Science don't do anything but cause wars and destruction.

Quantum physics is so intriguing. I hate to keep mentioning it, but watch the "what the bleep" movies. They're all about explaining quantum physics and consciousness at a level that most laypersons can understand it. It totally makes sense to me and has changed my life forever.

The best of us do. Not terribly concerned about death, it happens to all of us. I give back as best as I can...whatever you throw out into the universe, you get back. I'm scientific, but a huge believer in karma.

a lot of the ideas in these movies aren't factual, because a lot of it can't be proven right now. you'll understand more after you watch it, but trust me man, it will make your mind run and run and run... they are trying to prove the existence of God through science, and if you are scientifically minded like you and i are it makes a lot of sense, whether they have facts to back it up or not. cause really, how do you factually prove God exists and the origins of the universe?

It makes no difference to me if something actually happens in 2012, tomorrow or 3000. I just want to die knowing that I've lived my life with a good heart, leaving behind no regrets. If we are talking about factual proofs regarding the existence of God and/or what happens after death, there's only one way to find out, and I'm always ready for it, be it the next adventure in another plane of existence or eternal sleep :)

I'm not going to get into all of this G stuff and like I said I'll watch these videos eventually but I already have semi-established beliefs. One of my strongest beliefs counters the whole G idea and that's just not going to change. Imagine the strength of conviction of a true Christian has regarding their faith. That's how strongly I believe what I believe and the whole 'proving' God through science doesn't fly very well with me. But it depends on one's definition of G also.

I understand vision. And I'm not looking to change anyone's opinion of God, and the mention of God in the videos is actually very little. I just think there is a lot there that many can appreciate and relate to, and I was just stressing how it has changed my perception of the world and how I live my life.

i suppose at the core it is similar to "the secret", but it's the scientfic part that turned me on so much. "the secret" was pretty good, but "what the bleep" takes it to a-whole-nother level.
