alright guys, i am going to throw a curve ball at ya. now i know many of you might not be into the end of the world/ mayan prophecy type stuff. but here it is.

there is this man, by the name of Patrick Geryl. he feels he has unlocked exactly what is going to happen on the date of dec. 21, 2012.

our solar system will pass through what is known as the galactic equator. as our solar system passes through this area, we will be come perfectly aligned with the center of the dark rift. this is a area that is now know to have a super massive black hole. passing through the galactic equator, causes friction between gravities of diffrent areas in our universe. that friction causes the atoms to vibrate at a higher frequency. when that happens to our sun, it will have stronger and greater solar storms. well when we pass through the galactic equator, we will have the mother of all solar storms and our sun will belch out trillions of tons of negative charged radioactive particles. this cloud of particles will be so massive that it will dwarf us consideralby. when this cloud hits the earths magnetic field ( which is known to be weakening) it will seek the weakest point, which is the poles. the way our earth axis spins, the pole that will get blasted hardest is the south pole. well the south pole is NEGATIVELY charged. so think back from your science class. what happens when two negative charges come together? they flip until it is positive/negative.

well when this cloud hits the south pole, trillions of tons of these particles will accumulate at the pole, thus FLIPPING the pole. this will not be slow, but a very fast process. when the earths core flips internally, the north pole will become the soulthpole and the earths rotation will stop.

this is really bad news.

the earths crust or Mantle is like a skin around a orange. our earth spins at some 13k miles per hour at the equator. the planet is round, i am sure we all agree on that, but..... because we are spinning so fast at the equator the earth is more of a long oval shape. this bulge is what prevents the mantle of the earth from freely floating where ever it wants to. it would take a super massive amount of energy for the mantle to get over the bulge. but if the earth were to say....stop spinning, this mantle would be free to shift around the globe.

now back to the issue, when the pole shift happens, it wont be a matter of weeks or years, this will happen in hours/1 day. when the earth core flips that drasticly, the earths rotation slows to a stop and reverses its spin.

i dont know how many of you are familiar with geology, but the planets tectonic plates are always moving, we used to have one super massive continet called pangea, then the continets over millions of years have left us with the globe as we now know it.


now if the earth comes to a full stop, disaster on a massive scale begins. for one....what happens when you hold a glass of water in a car going say 30 miles a hour, and it comes to a screeching halt? the water flies forward in the direction of its inertia. well imagine the planet comming to a full stop, after its been spinning 13k miles a hour @ the equator? every ocean on the face of the earth will move. what i am talking about is a 2 kilometer high tidalwave that will circle the globe three times. the great flood.


not only that, when the sun belches out these particles, its like a EMP blast. every electronic will be hit so hard it will fry hardware. now i am sure you all know that, in each and every state in this nation we have a nuclear reator. the reactors are cooled by water. the systems are run off electricity. so no electricity, no coolant, no coolant equals a chernobyl effect in every state in our nation.


huge earth quakes will rock every continent on the planet. they belive that austrailia will travel 30 degrees ABOVE the equator. the continent that will move the least will be africa. they say that you will need to be above a certain elevation to avoid the global tidalwave. every volcano on earth is going to get aggravated and blow its top. yellostone national park is the worlds largest SUPER VOLCANO (look it up, wanna get scared). the dust cloud from everyone of eaths volcanos and gases, will block the sun for tens of years.....DECADES of DARKNESS.

even if all this tectonic stuff doesnt happen, the EMP blast will still kill anyone out in the open, fry all of our electrical grids gloabaly, and send us right back into the stone age.



its a really grim situation, NASA confirms that the sun is going through some really un-precidented stuff right now, and the way we are polluting the oceans, with stuff like the BP disaster, there will be no fresh water on the planet.


after the event, if any of us DO survive as a spieces, which will be a long shot. we will have to remap the entire globe, because the magnetic poles are now opposite, the globes continents will have shifted drasticly, and the longditudes and latitudes will need to be re mapped, compasses or GPS will mean jack squat.


the mayans, the hopi, the egyptians, and the chinese have all come to the same conclusions, on dec 21st 2012, something very significant is going to happen to this planet, and us as a spieces.

What will happen to us? The answer is simple. Nothing. Currently, those who watch the action on the sun are located in California, their devices cannot yet predict any solar storms that far out, but there are currently no issues to worry about.

I could go on and on over this, since science is my subject, but it's easier to be blunt about it.

This is not going to happen. We will be nowhere near the supermassive black hole. For that matter, we aren't even close to it, nor will we be. How do I know this? Our solar system does not rotate around anything. If a supermassive black hole was evidently close enough for us to have a problem, we'd already be rotating around this supermassive black hole, and we'd be able to see trails and trails of light for the next few years until 2012 from the particles being compressed to nothing. Our sun will also be nowhere near the black hole. It takes thousands to even hundreds of thousands (maybe even millions) of years for a black hole to fully devour massive objects like our sun or our solar system. This stuff doesn't happen over a day like you see in the movies.

Unfortunately, the people who are making a big deal out of this are Christians and people out for a dollar. In Christianity, just like the year 2000 (Y2K) was the end of days to all Christians. So is this event. I've lived through Y2K while playing monopoly (I was cheating as the banker, and I still lost.) Coming up with these theories of things happening without factual evidence of the quote I put from you provides me enough information that speculation has played a giant role in this, rendering it useless information to me, personally. The date of December 21, 2012 isn't very significant. Any disaster could happen on any day. Besides, what's more likely to happen, something like the 2012 theory to end the world, or a man-made war to end the world? The funny thing about this video, which I have watched every single bit now just because of this thread, is that this guy is feeding off of many other people's theories. You have to know first that every theory has to be proven correct 100% before anything this guy is saying becomes possible. He's feeding off every single prediction. The best part is that he has no degree whatsoever in ANYTHING. Anyone can read a book and feel like they understand things to a scientific level. He's hiring people to do his mathematics, excavations, and other works.

Bottom line: This guy is an average Joe just like you and I. I don't believe him. The poles shifting like this are NOT that problematic to the solar system. Alignment has nothing to do with this theory at all.

The earth's magnetic poles have flipped MANY times, with no ill effects. One happened in 2001!! Just because the poles flip DOES NOT mean the earth starts spinning the other way:

There is a difference of pole shifting, and POLAR(ITY) shifting.
In "pole" shifting what happens is the positive and negative poles are changed. In other words the POLARITY changes. Because the polarity changes does not mean something has to flip. Take a battery, for example. Reverse the polarity. Did the battery flip? Nope! The only thing that happens is the negative and positive poles are reversed in polarity.

In these scientific terms, POLE shifting is actually POLARITY shifting. Pole shifting is used to make it dramatic-sounding, and it works for what they are trying to say (the reversal of positive and negative locations on poles), however, it's being understood in the wrong context.

With ur magnet thing when 2 charges of the same charge (both neg in this case) come towards each other they repell each other not flip not anything else they force one another away ie: push each other back....so if this did happen to a serverity as you say it will just means we would push it back which could move the planet away from sun but wouldn't flip anything since magnets repell like charges and if it was such a strong magnetic force wouldn't it go to the postivie end anyways because the positive side would atract the neg. I'll give you the fact of credibility regarding the Egyptians, Mayans, and so-forth. Many of their estimations have been correct. Regarding the theory of relativity, his theory is incorrect. There are currently ZERO galaxies moving at the speed of light. NONE. The only way to measure this is to look at a current universe, which is also stretching, not expanding. When we measure two galaxies moving away from each other, it would appear so that they are, indeed, moving away at the speed of light, but this is an inaccurate answer. In theory, yes, they do have the POSSIBILITY to do so, but they will not. Why? Because every galaxy is bound by itself. In other words, you can't take a giant galaxy and move it at the speed of light, otherwise it wouldn't be a galaxy anymore. You have to remember that galaxies are complex systems that require gravity from surrounding objects from moving around. They are self dependent. This also means that if untouched, these galaxies will not orbit anything. This also means that they cannot stretch, because a force (gravity) is keeping these galaxies from moving. The universe is not expanding, it is stretching. I have never heard of anything able to move at the speed of light without being a component of light itself. I also understand you speaking of magnets versus positive and negative of batteries. The core of the Earth is completely reliant of itself. It operates with or without the Earth, independently. If you spin it around, guess what you get? An upside-down core. That's it.

from what i have read, the mayans never predicted the end of the world, their calander just stopped. does this mean the world will end, F*CK NO! it could just as easily mean that they planned on expanding their calendar when it got closer to dec 12 2012, and they needed more.
