i went to college with carwin. he helped coach our wrestling team occasionally, and i helped him study for a few classes. met up with him in vegas after his first UFC fight with one of my old college roommates. he is a super nice guy, real classy, and pretty damn smart. i hope he beats the shit out of that asshole lesner.

im not saying brock will win. IF (keyword here..) he gets a dominate position he could severely end the fight. Yes shane has great wrestling, but frank has incredible BJJ and he got worked TWICE. Scott smith is terrible and everyone thought he would lose.Dan Henderson vs Jake shields, Henderson is an Olympic caliber wrestler with a heavy ass right hand. Jake shields dominated him the whole fight and made him look like a fool. Everyone sat there before and said dan would win off his wrestling alone and he got embarrassed by jake . Now i dont know who i want to win the fight as its a toss up BUT sitting there saying so and so is this so he wins is just wrong. Go into this fight with an open mind because ANYTHING can happen. There is no measuring of skill in this one......................................of course watch one of them win by Kimura or Armbar in the second. That would be hilarious.

reilly, you're exactly right, the fight will be a toss up. i was just saying that because if brock gets on top of shane don't expect shane to just lay there. shane is big enough that he can get up if he wants, unlike mir who stayed down because he thought he could work his bjj and then went night night and the left side of his face blew up like a balloon.

i think the big difference between lesner and carwin is that lesner is all attitude and carwin is all heart. if lesner wins, i expect shane to come back and tear him the F*CK apart. if carwin wins, i expect brock to cry and whine like a bitch ("i was real sick and never made a full recovery").
