I use Frostwire if that would work ? It's been 4+ Years since i've used photoshop, but this would give me good practice to get back into it.

Not sure about the newest versions of frostwire but utorrent is a very good torrent app -- if you haven't tried torrents you need to -- they're 12391230 times better imho

I use Frostwire sticktly for music. But I will get utorrent for getting Photoshop. Am I going to have to get multiply files ? Like Photoshop CS, a cd key generator etc?

So torrent programs are pretty cool -- you download a single file from a website that specifies a group of files to download over the p2p torrent network.

After you install utorrent -- check out torrentz.com -- just a meta search for various torrent trackers -- type in what you want, then find a result that has a lot of seeders (uploaders) which is the number in green -- then click that.

Now you have a set of torrent trackers site (tracker) that you can pick to download from. Each torrent tracker site has it's own layout and a lot can be confusing (intentionally) to get you to pick things like direct download, etc -- don't.

Try to go to thepiratebay if thats an option (for Photoshop CS4, it is).

TBP has cool icons for the reputation of uploaders -- if you see green or purple, you're most likely good. For the most part, ignore the comments unless everyone says VIRUS! If a few people say it, but most say "no virus" then F*CK it, those are plants -- but feel free to scan anyway.

Make sure you click the "Download this torrent" link.

You then get the standard browser download popup-- click open with uTorrent.

It'll pop up uTorrent with a selection box of files you want to download. If you only want to download a single song from an album, this is a great way to deselect everything else and get a speedy download.

In this case of a program, you're gonna want everything (I sometimes deselect the bullshit files they stick in there like "trackedby" or whatever but they're fine).

In most programs, you'll have a .nfo file or a serials.txt or a crack directory. Read the instructions in there, or possibly in the info on the torrent tracker site, or possibly in one of the comments.

Follow the directions and you should be all set. Most cracks either:
1) Give you a serial number that works right out of the box
2) Give you a file that, after you install the program on your hard drive, you should replace the version that was installed.
3) Prevent the program from "phoning home" to determine their validity"
4) Some combination of these -- CS4 cracks use all 3 IIRC, but may only use 1 and 3.


The link I posted has only photoshop -- if you want all of ACS4 -- so Dreamweaver, Flash, etc -- there are torrents for that too.

I just dl'd the lastest photoshop, CS5, but I ended up deleting it all except acrobat becuz I don't have time to learn it :(

Hell ya Fomenta! Thanks a lot dude. If I had tried that with me being so computer illiterate I would have gotten something nasty and ruined my computer. Also, once it downloaded it had 3 instalation files. One was for Photoshop, one for a customer assistance thing and the other was ALWIL. I looked it up and it's a virus protection program. I doubt I will be needing to install the last 2 right ?

Also Kryptic, I keep meaning to say this but if that asian girl would loosen her grip a ways and open her mouth it'd be a major turn on!

Well I didn't have very much time to test whether I remembered how to use Photoshop, but I took like 8 minutes to see what I could do with this one and this is what I came up with. Hope it isn't horrible compared to what a "pro" could do because it was only a little test for me to see if the colors could come out decent haha. I've still got a lot of learning to do.
