 New Motorcycle
I ride a Honda Shadow Spirit VT750CD now, but after getting a few (small) raises at work and looking over my finances, I've determined that it's time for me to graduate to a bigger bike. Rather than spending 7-8 grand on a used one, I opted to spend a little under $10,000 on a brand new 2010 Triumph Speedmaster. I went to the local dealer and they quoted me $9900 out the door with floor boards and a heel/toe shifter. After calling around, I found a dealer in Waco that offered me a 2010 Speedmaster for $9400 out the door with saddlebags, a windshield, floorboards and a heel/toe shifter. That's $500 off + over $1000 in free stuff. The dealer in Waco didn't have a 2010 in stock, though, but they told me they'd order one if I was serious about buying one. I test drove a 2009 they had on Saturday and fell in love. I gave 'em my bank information and whatnot and they got the ball rolling. I just talked to the dealership today, and they ordered it Monday morning. This sexy baby is on its way from England right now. If I don't have it this Saturday, I'll have it next Saturday. Can't wait. It's got a 900cc parallel-twin engine and auto-tuning (intelligent) electronic fuel injection. Oh, and did I mention it's fast? This thing is RETARDED fast. 100mph in 3rd gear with PLENTY of room. The top speed on it is probably close to 160mph or so, and that's a 900cc CRUISER. Not that I ever plan on going that fast... but damn. Impressive as hell. It's beautiful, too. Check it out: Attachment:

Damn, that's one nice bike. I would guess that it's a good price too, right?

Congrats man, I'm so jealous...I can barely get to my first (personally owned) bike and you're on your second? You fit the cruiser style well, I want a Ducati Monster 796 personally, but I'll settle with a Yamaha 2010 YZF-R6.
What do you think about those G? I know the Yamaha is a little mainstream but it'll fit me well I think. Any suggestions?

 Re: New Motorcycle
Go with a GSX-R600. I'm a little biased cause i own one but i love they way the feel. I would sit on them all and get a feel for them before you decide.
Im a crotch rocket type of guy but damn thats a nice bike Gman! Very nice find and even better price!

I'm not crazy about Yamaha bikes (except their dirt bikes, I guess). They just don't really make anything special enough for me to give a shit. I don't really stay on top of the sport bike market, though, 'cause I'm a big ass dude and big dudes can't really ride a sport bike comfortably.
