demonoid is still alive and well, i DL all the new movies in about 10 minutes...

Can someone tell me what is so cool about demonoid? I mean, I'm not a member and from the few pages I've read it seems like its just another torrent tracker -- like what is different that if I use http://www.torrentz.com or some other torrent metasearch?

Reference to Fomenta, Demonoid is a nice little private tracker, I enjoy it, its just like I don't know....going to the small town bar than going to a big bar downtown, same liquor but cozier environment.

Being a very strong private torrent community you can count on high quality uploads and have a lot less to worry about when dl'ing stuff. There are very few dl's that have viruses and/or tracker crap and they do a good job of only having 1 to 2 uploads of the same thing. Everyone does a good job in the comment section of each torrent so you know the quality of the dl too. It's very easy to search for exactly what you want too.

Gotcha -- so like, you'd check demonoid first but since I'm assuming the selection might be a little limited on the more niche stuff, you might have to turn to other trackers in case demonoid doesn't have it?

It sounds like its a community full of uploaders like the ones that get colored icons on TPB.

nonono, demonoid is not limited to more niche stuff, they have a F*CK ton of torrens of all types. from music to movies to games to cracks to pretty much everything i could ever want. since ive had an account at demonoid i have not gone anywhere else, ever. it is amazing and awesome and i have a ridiculous up/down/ ratio which happened by accident cause i left my computer on and uploading when i went on vacation, lol.

Ok private trackers rock compared to public trackers the reason being is the amount of seeders to leechers is insane. I can download a 6Gb game at 1.5Mb/s from ilovetorrents.com, torrent-damage.net, or demonoid.com. Helllz yeah
