Meeting went even better than I could have expected...the CTO was very supportive of the proposal and actually offered to contribute code himself to the project which I thought wa absolutely awesome.

Last guy I need to sell is the business line exec, but its very rare for those guys to shoot anything down if the technical leadership and lower level execs are on board.
