Didn't get in CSS Beta? Want to?

 Didn't get in CSS Beta? Want to?1. steam://validate/260 - and wait for Steam to fully download the GCF.
2. Use GCF Scape (http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/files/ ... ape180.exe) to extract the cstrike_beta folder to the SourceMods folder (located in the SteamApps folder) 3. In the cstrike_beta folder, open GameInfo.txt Change the SteamAppID from 260 to 440 (Requires TF2!) Find the steam.inf file, rename it steam_.inf Restart Steam. Right click the new game in your Steam Library... click properties. Set Launch Options, add in advanced Security Options add: -insecure -secure You're welcome. P.S. If you cannot get the download to pop-up for you, use this link before the one in step one: steam://rungameid/260 |

I'm not sure about the VAC deal. Spyda is right about VAC only banning for using, or attempting to use cheats, hacks, or third party programs that may interfere with the gameplay. I do not see how this is a violation of the EULA, but I'll say it just in case: Use this at your own risk. If it makes you feel any better, I did it, and I have over $300 worth of games on Steam. I really don't feel there's an issue. |

STEAM validation rejected Also, you can't see servers in the server list and have to find IP's online Just an fyi _________________ |
