Re: Mouse Pad... I like my hardpad because when it gets dirty I can just wipe it off and it will be clean. If I had a choice though, I'd change to cloth. It's just that I hate cleaning them. Also if you get a hardpad, make sure you buy a set or 2 of mouse feet for your mouse because you'll need them after a month or 2 and eventually the pad itself will wear from a roughish surface to an icy/gloss/mirror like surface where your mouse runs over the most and after about a year or so you will feel the difference between the rough and smooth surface on it and will mess up your aim.

Re: Mouse Pad... Mine is from about 04-05, but it's still runnin strong haha. If they make them anymore I want another one. But some of you might think it's a little to small or something. But since I set it right on the corner of the desk, it works out perfectly. It's also really easy to clean. Just smack it a couple of times and it's back to the way it was.

Re: Mouse Pad... mine is a HP gaming mousepad i bought at fry's electronics. my mouse glides on it pretty much frictionless. noticeably helped improve my aiming motion. highly recommend them (non-cloth).
