Re: Kick-Ass Kick-ass wasn't that good. Hit Girl was awesome, though.
I dunno the movie felt like it was a comedy movie trying too hard to be a hero movie, or vice-versa. But it didn't do a very good job at either one... it just kind of got stuck in the middle and never delivered anything but "am I supposed to be laughing at this scene or rooting for the good guy like in spider-man?" **SEMI-SPOILER ALERT** Example: the part where Daddy shoots HG with a pistol was F*CKING hilarious, and the part after where she says she wants a puppy - those are F*CKING hilarious, the funniest parts of the movie. Then you get the shit where he puts on the suit for the first time and you can tell that its supposed to be funny but it comes off more like a shitty superhero movie from there on out and just isn't funny at all. Its worth a movie ticket if you go with someone cool, but thats about it |
